From Oaktopia to Oktoberfest

… and beyond

September got us up and running. Now that Fall officially is upon us, we have so many things to do, people to see and music events to experience, we have no excuses for sitting in front of the TV, watching the world unfold as pixels.

Tonight! Tuesday, Sept. 22:

  • Bubba Hernandez & Friends (Jimmy Tunnell, Robert Hokamp, Alan Emert) at Sweetwater Grill & Tavern, 115 S.

    Elm, 7 pm – FREE

  • Open Mic at Muddy Jakes, 222 W. Hickory, from 8 pm to Midnight – FREE

Wednesday, Sept. 23:

  • Traditional Irish music with County Rexford at the Abbey Inn, 100 Hickory, from 7:30 to 9:45 pm – no cover
  • Bassist Jeffry Eckels presents A Vocal Jazz Showcase with Hale
