Wednesday, February 25:

  • Jeffry Eckels presents Vocal Jazz Showcase at The Whitehouse, corner of Scripture and Bryan, from 8-10:30 p.m. – no cover

Carolyn Lee Jones and Friends featuring Jeffry Eckels on bass, Paul Metzger on guitar, and Ann MacMillan on drums. Each Wednesday evening is a showcase of jazz at The Whitehouse in Denton, a hip coffee and wine bar with delicious food and treats, no cover charge. Come early and stay late.

  • Open Mic at Sweetwater Grill & Tavern, 115 S. Elm St., from 8-10 p.m. – FREE
  • University of North Texas Faculty, Guest Artist & Student Recital (violin, viola, cello, piano) in Voertman Hall at 8 p.m. – FREE
    Nine & Eight O’Clock Lab Bands in Gateway Center at 9 p.m. – $4

Thursday, February 26:

  • UNT Wind Symphony performs in Winspear Hall at 7:30 pm – $8/10 ***
  • Skagg Phillips + Volt Revolt + Cory Patrick Coleman at Dan’s Silverleaf, 103 Industrial, at 9 p.m. – $7
  • Laurynn Grimes at Banter Bistro, 219 W. Oak St., at 6 p.m., followed by Open Mic at 8 p.m. – BOTH FREE

Friday, February 27:

  • UNT Opera & Concert Orchestra perform The Tales of Hoffmann in the Lyceum Theatre at 8 p.m. – $35/25/15

  • UNT Brass Band performs in Winspear Hall at 7:30 pm – $8/10 ***
